Child Labor is the use of children to work in factories or other places of employment. The regulation of child labor was an important social problem during the 1700's and 1800's. Businesses in Great Britain, the U.S. and other countries hired young children to work for low wages. Many of these children were under 10 years of age, with some only 5 or 6 years old.

Social reformers condemned the practice of child labor and the most famous of these reformers was English novelist, Charles Dickens.

Child Labour is something that should have a stop put on it.
There are people who take young children and put them to work for the smallest amount of money they can pay them it is evil and it is a pity that when some of these are found out that the same thing doesn`t happen to them and they would have to work all the hours that god sends in the condition that these poor children do.

The Us child labor laws are complex. In general:
1) You must have a work permit issued by a parent and your employer and filed at your school.
2) If you work in your parents business or farm or home - you are not going to get out of it.
3) A personal under 18 may not be employed to handle hazardous material or be in a dangerous situation.
