I was thinking about getting my boyfriend's parents some chocolate for the holidays because his parents love chocolate (His father can't eat dark chocolate) but I don't know what kind to get them? I was looking at Godiva, See's candy, Ferrero Rocher, and there's some belgium chocolate at the store I work at, but I have never sampled any of these myself. Can someone give me any ideas on what is the best kind? Thanks!

Hmmm...if they love chocolate, I would stick with Godiva chocolate. It costs a little more but your palate will explain why when you taste these delicious morsels. The richness of the contents of each chocolate piece will literally melt in your mouth.

If your budget will not work well at Godiva (found in any Macy's store), you could do well with See's candies. The chocolate is not as smooth as Godiva, but there are some delicious choices there to appease the most discriminatory palate.

Ferrero Rocher is simply divine and smooth as Godiva, but lacks enough variety. You get the center, which is the hazelnut, then a creamy chocolate filling, then a wafer, and the outside is chocolate covered with chopped hazelnuts. If you wanted just smooth chocolate without nuts, you won't get it here.

You could purchase a small sample of each and do a taste test yourself to see which wins YOU over. I would go with Godiva, though. I've had all three and Godiva wins it for me when I want to give my chocoholic friends something special.

I would buy them something that is not easily accessible for them. I was in Germany for 4 years and let me tell you the German and Swiss Chocolate is the best ever! It literally melts into your mouth! It is so rich and smooth is can not as sweet as an American chocolate. Try any of these brands it is well worth the money and they will know that you put more thought into it than just going to any store and grabbing the first pricey chocolate they offer!

properly, that's possibly no longer likely to help you, yet while there everywhere on the candy field or bag that shows an expiration date? no be counted if that's high priced candy, ask the employer to procure it from. candy is sent all of the time. i could choose it to reach clean additionally!!! the only time candy generally melts is the summer season months, and which could get complicated. i understand a candle save, as an occasion, that would not deliver to the barren area cities in the summertime because of the fact a introduced field disregarded front could have its contents negatively laid low with one hundred degree climate. Sending candy is a stunning gesture!

Godivas are world class...if his parents drink at all Godiva also makes a few different chocolate liquers that are great in a cup of coffee on a chilly Saturday morning.

I love Godiva's truffles. They have many different kinds and the pepermint ones for Christmas. They are pricey, but they are worth it in my opinion. Good chocolate is a great idea for a present!!

Go to www.godiva.com They stocking stuffers, boxes, and new flavors listed on this website. Enjoy!!

Lindt is about the best of the bunch. Ferrero Rocher are awesome - and depending if they like hazelnuts or cherries, there are different kinds (Mon Cher is the cherry). Toblerone is also yummers.

Oddly enough the best chocolate I have tried in a long time is from Aldi groceries. Stay away from Fannie May they have messed up the candy since it has sold.
