I know that both forms of these kinds of poetry do rhyme with a rhyme scheme. But I wondered if it's considered to be metered.

The rondel is 13 lines of 8 syllables plus 2 refrains each of 4 syllables and 3 rhymes.
The triolet is iambic pentameter.
So the rondel can be, but not necessarily metered, and the triolet is always metered.
