I went thru a carwash and I guess the pressure was to much, I now notice I have water settled in the bottom of my foglight, it still works, instead of paying over $200 for a new one is there a way to take it a part and empty the water out and put back together. Please let me know, I am cheap. Its for a Toyota Sequoia 2003...

they are sealed. ther sould be NO drain hole. take the bulb out. Is replaceable, it has to come out some how. Either blow out the glass housing with compressed air or duct tape a small tube to a shopvac hose and suck it out. for the tiny amount of water that is in there you could probably get way with a household vac if you dont own a wet/ dry vac. Just dont be a fool and try to suck up a gallon of water witha standard vac and wonder why you got electricuted. the 1 ounce thats in your fog light will only get your dust wet.

There are a million different fog lights and I don't know which one you have. Look on the bottom of the housing for a small vent hole, it may be plugged holding the water in. If there isn't one, look and see if it will come apart to drain it. There should be some way to get to the light to change it when necessary.

If there is a vent hole, clear it with a paper clip. If there is no hole, you can always drill a small hole at the bottom to drain the water and then plug it with some clear silicone. If the water got in, there must be a hole somewhere.
