when I first read your question I got all emotional and sentimental and thought about writing you a heartfelt reply. Then I gave it a while, had another glass of wine, read the full question and p***sed myself laughing - thanks!

There are a number of options.
1. Go to California (or Dover) and arrange a funeral ceremony where you can turn her (metaphorical) death into some sort of procedure for 'cleansing' you relationship so that the two of you can be 'reborn' together in love. (deploy copious amounts of New Age Philosophy to make this work, plus or minus drugs).
2. Kill her. Don't get caught. Attend funeral.
3. Go to other peoples funerals, it might help. They will be cool with it.
4. Go and have a beer.
