I am looking for a website, or any other suggestions, that can help with guidance in replacing brake discs and pads on a '04 Mazda6.

£200 sounds about right for replacement of a set of discs and pads. Your advisory note should say whether it is the front or back and should say which side (left or right). Normally both sides would be equally worn, but even if one side is better, get both left and right replaced. You do not have to get the front and back done at the same time; normally the front and back wear at different rates. Don't go for cheap braking parts; there are other things you can do cost-cutting on, but make sure your brakes are right. Look for a reputable maker such as Lockheed, Apec, Ferodo, Bosch or genuine Renault ones. They may not be that much more expensive. Most parts stockists will have a system where they can find parts using your registration number.
