see your doctor. many women have a miscarriage and never know it because its so early in the pregnancy (like the first week or two). if you are concerned, go see someone. they will run some tests and make sure that nothings wrong.

You can absolutely have a miscarriage without knowing. Actually most miscarriage happen within a few weeks of conception, so sometimes you'll have a period that's a little longer or heavier--this is probably a miscarriage. I miscarried back April 12th of this year, before 12 weeks of pregnancy. The tissue that came out was similiar to a heavy period, even at being 7 weeks pregnant. If you have major cramps after your period, it can be the after effects of a miscarriage, or it can be something else. There's no way of really knowing for sure because at this state in a pregnancy, without a blood test, the level of pregnancy hormone will be undetectable with over the counter tests. If you do have a miscarriage, there's nothing you can do about it; it simply means the fetus is too weak to exist outside of the womb. However, simple things like more folic acid in your diet, losing or gaining a little weight, and other things can help your chances on conception if you're indeed trying to become a parent.

Yes, it is possible. I was pregnant just long enough to get 3 positive pregnancy tests (all on the same day), but I think the baby died the next day and the day after that, my HcG level was a 5 (2-3 is "normal" for someone who is not pregnant, about 60 would have been normal for someone who is 4 1/2 weeks preg)--so I think that if I hadn't tested that day, I would never have even known about the baby we lost.
But, major cramps and blood clots can also indicate low iron, so you did not necessarily have a miscarriage.
God bless!

it is very possible, depends on how far a long you are when you have the miscarriage. it all depends on that pretty much. you could have had one but i doubt it. call and talk to your doctor and if you think you need one make an appointment to ask all your questions and get an exam. hope this helps, holly if it was a miscarriage you would know gut feeling you know what i mean? most women just have that feeling that something is not right .
