HAHA about this job thing, everyone i know with flesh tunnels has got a job easily. We live in the 20th century, you cant not be given a job because of how you look, its discrimination. And i have a job with mine now.
And yes i will have plastic surgery when i grow out of it. I am only young once.
And spell properly please :)

I do not think they are disgusting. As a professional piercer, I love lots of body modification. However, I don't like the people who blindly gauge their ears and find out later on that its not easily reversible. I think if you are going to get a mod, you should research it, learn what you are doing then decide if you still want to do it.
I agree with you that some people look good with it. I cannot picture myself any other way and I'm also prepared for the surgery to fix it, if I ever do. And on top of being a piercer, I have a good college education and I'm also employed with a marketing company and my boss understands that my appearance doesn't effect my ability to work.
I think as long as you do what makes you happy and live your one and only life the way you want to that you'll be better off in the long run...and you'll have one helluva story for your grandkids :-D

I've had mine stretched for a long time. They're presently at 5/8"
I'm a tattoo artist but I also have a professional job and earn respect (and decent money) by doing it well. Personally, I like the look, and when it comes to work, I judge based on performance first, before appearance. Granted, if one's performance sucks, they're not likely to get much slack on looking unorthodox...skill balances for sticking out.
I've had my ears stretched for 10 years, so I don't suspect I'll be having second thoughts any time soon.

go for it i got one. And dont worry bout the person above who wrote the only job youll get is a skater or tattoo artist. The only jobs it will affect are jobs where you gotta wear a suit (solicitor etc) so go for it. They kinda ache at first when they get over an inch though

I wouldn't do it. You may like the look now, but what happens in 5, 10, 15 years when you don't like it any more? I would think you'd need plastic surgury to repair that?

I think it's gross, especially when teenages do it , how are the going to get a job except at the locale headshop. I think if they want it put to gether they have to have plastic surgury, but to each there own right!

you're not hurting anyone ,just another way of expressing oneself like tatts, piercings and hairstyles.
Don't like the look of them myself, but anyone prepared to be individual enough to do it, then more power to them.
Just remember you will get old one day.

Eh? Do you mean like flesh tunnels? I've got one of them. I like it. Do it if you like it, don't if you don't. Easy.
