They fight and yowl and hiss outside peoples windows, plus they kill small animals even when they are well fed, and are just too wild.

Seriously, I hate cats too. I'm studying to be a small animal massage therapist, meaning I'd work on dogs and cats... but... I just refuse to read any of the cat stuff because, well, I hate cats.

I Love Cats...
Dead Ones!! .....Ok Just Kidding!! LOL !! I'd never hurt one of Gods creatures ( have a hard time killing mice and spiders)
But really I can't stand 'em.
Outside mousers maybe, they're pretty to watch,
Just keep 'em away from me!!

That's actually relatively common - so I wouldn't worry about it. Rarely do people hate dogs, but cats are somehow different.

Maybe it's because of a bad experience you had. That's like me with dogs. I think they're cute and everything, however, I don't like being around them because of a bad experience I had. I'm just not a fan of pets because I'm afraid the animal might bite me or something!

They just get on some people's nerves, and are perceived as being smug or aloof or whatever unattractive trait. It seems that most people either love em or hate em, no neutrals.
Don't let it bother you; you don't have to like them. There are plenty of us who do.

I hate them too, they are spiteful and their owners are their slaves.. My friend's cat took a leak on my Prada handbag while looking me in the eye the entire time.... I am pretty sure he was smirking.
