i have my husband to keep me company, but if he falls asleep before me i think about :

the book i'm writing
bills to be paid
what i achieved that day
why his family hate me
where i know that face from
where i know that song from
the incident with the guy at the supermarket
why the hell do i have a crush on a guy 33 years older than me
why the hell i have a crush at all since i'm married
when will i go to sleep?
what was that noise
damn, there's another ghost, hello! how are you tonight?
when will i have my baby?
why did i date that guy all those years ago?
why is grant denyer leaving Sunrise?
if there's white blood cells, and red blood cells, why isn't blood pink?
what's the time now?
should i cut my hair?
where should get my hair cut?
don't forget to get meat out in the morning
oh good, i'm yawning
how did that joke go?
what will i dream about this time?
what do i need to get at the shops tomorrow?
or is it today?
why do i always...zzzzzzzzzzz!

what was that noise
what was that voice
what was that feeling...Then I wake up. I have a glass of milk or water, and a cigarrette.
I walk through the house slowly, and I open a book which is interesting for me, then I am so fresh that I could go for a walk at midnight.
But I am afraid to tell anybody. They are tired at night.
So, I writte, or I keep reading.

Then, suddenly it is time to face the truth..I do not like the way m life is going. And then, by bye night! I begin to make a new plan for tomorrow.

I think of how long it will be before I will be sharing my bed with my husband again. He works in Iraq and has been away for 2 months now. Only 6 weeks and 3 days to go now. Not that I'm counting or anything!

Pure randomness:
"Just how do they get air into the bubble wrap?"

"Why isn't the sticky seal on envelopes not chocolate flavoured?"

"I paid for a ticket on the train to get me home... not front row seats to a tonsils hockey match...hope I never have to see that again"

"Why do people put more effort into their weddings than their own marriage?"

"Is the technician really a dude?"

"Should I call him?...i.e. Should I wake him up?"

Lots of stuff basically

Most nights I wonder what time my husband will be getting home. He works closing shifts and he usually gets in around 12:30 or so.
