I want to know how to make a homemade lava lamp that you don't have to shake to use. I don't want to buy a whole bunch of stuff you can't find at some craft store.

I'm sorry you have put the disclaimer about stuff from the craft store, since the ingredients for a lava lamp aren't the kind you find at most craft stores.

Fortunately, you can make a simple home-spun version. It won't look exactly like one of those store bought ones, but it will be a fun project and you will learn a thing or two about chemistry while you're at it! See the link I have provided below.
