Just let it play, thats annoying when they cant leave it alone.

I don't know,but it is so annoying when people do that. Just listen to the whole song!

I do it sometime if im looking for a particular song or when i like allot of the songs on there but not in the mood to listen to some of them all the way thru, so you get to hear one you realy like, then skip for another one.
If its a new cd then its just to hear whats on there.

My boyfriend says its generational, the fact that I don't often want to listen to just one album. I think I just like variety. Who knows? Occasionally I will skip a song because I get tired of it, or its a song on an album i dont care for or because someone else around hates it and I dont want to make them sit through it. But all of this is why I have an MP3 player and no longer listen to cds. CDs are a dead technology.

well sometimes i jump all over a CD like i hit the RANDOM button on my remote because if i listen to the same songs in the same order it gets SOOOO boring.
I have no idea y they play it for 30 secs then switch. it drives me crazy. i guess maybe in some cases its cuz they want to find a specific song or dont like a specific song. if its constantly im rede to scream "just leave the thing alone!!!!!!" hope that helps some

Yeah that bothers me a bit too. I mean, if people are going to buy a CD, why don't they at least like most of the songs on it.
Doesn't make any sense to me.

I must admit I do it sometimes because i get bored of songs quickly....if i was on a long journey i wouldn't.....
