From the bottom up it's E,A,D,G,B,E
Surely the tuner has some indication of what notes are being blown?

The blow tuner wont work until you develop an ear. You need a digital tuner. The strings from Low to high should be E-A-D-G-B-E.

Those blow ones blow. You're supposed to match the tone with the string. Make life a little easier and buy a battery operated tuner. It's well worth it.

Don't bother with the tuning pipe, get a proper digital tuner, for less than 10 quid from your music shop.

lol voodoo chilled, that's exactly how tuning was explained to me

seriously take the guitar to a music shop until you learn how to do it by ear. I actually got a cd for my bass when I was learning that had the notes on it to help you tune - until you get good at it (it works) and soon you'll be able to do it by just listening. You should be able to get a cd or dvd at a good music store or online. Great for practicing and checking you're getting things sounding right.

ok it can be done without that play the fifth fret on the thickest string (sixth) adjust that string and the next one until the sixth string being played on the fifth fret and the next string played open (on no fret) sound the same then do the same but start with the fifth string and try to make it sound the same as the fourth string and so on the only thing is for the third string play it on the fourth fret then for the rest use the fifth fret. that is known as concert pitch.sorry this is hard to put into words

get a young man to show you. And I'm not kidding. But surely there must be many places where you could google for this info?

Personally I can't be bothered typing out the answer. It would bore me.

Most young guys in their 20's can tune a guitar. Traditionally, young women wil ask young men to show them things like this. It's the way of the world!
