Ihave a 92 chevy van shut off while driving?

I got power, dash don't lite up when i turn key

the dash lights wont light up unless you turnt he key off and then back to on position

does it crank over ?

if it just dies for no reason driving down the road and the battery is up good and the alternator is good then i would try a new igntion module they are about 20 bucks, and it is located inside the distributor, remove the distrib cap and rotor and remove the two small screws holding it in there, cant miss it, it it what the wires plug into, at both ends of the module, theses commonly go bad and wil cause the engine to die especially when its warm/hot
dont forget to put dielectric grease on the bottom side of it before installing it, the store will have small packets of it for about 70 cents each
