Yes, even where I live, I have seen a decline in civility. Especially in traffic. People don't even stop at stop sign anymore. I have witnessed this over the past decade.

It use to be everyone would stop. Now, today only 1 in 10 I estimate stops at the stop sign. (I live near the stop sign). Most go right THROUGH! And people today get mad over the slightest thing while driving and have a "I'll show you" attitude.

Let the punishment begin on this great nation. You don't know how lucky we are.

i used to live in NJ and its not everywhere. it depends where you stay... its like that everywhere in the U.S unless you want to live in a rural area where all you see is trees and barns. bad thing about the south is that its very slow and people get pushed around a lot. People keep their mouths shut when they see something is wrong. People are mean and two-faced. southern hospitality is dead!!!! that's why I luv NJ 4eva!!!

Yes, I live in Missouri. People hear are so two faced. Ive learned you cant trust anyone no matter where you are. Except for your family and close friends. And even than, you still get ****** over by people that youve known for years.

A society based on gross consumerism?

The whole society has gone WACKO, not just NJ.

Try to keep flying above the BS.

All we have here is "Minnesota Nice". All that means that they have no manners and are rude behind your back. In fact they aren't that friendly. Why did I move here?
