My sis got in trouble for having a qoute from a friend on her profile. The qoute was racest and the one saw the qoute and brought her to the school and We migh get charged for racial bullying. Is that even possible?

Though my family is racist. But we know better than to say that stuff in public, but my sister posted it anyway cause she though it was funny. The parent saw and took it in. Now my sister is in trouble at school and supossidly with the law now for quoting her friend. Though I know Racism is wrong and all but it can't really be helped.

Sorry, but believe it or not racism is not takin lightly. some how some way anything racist you say can be used against you any time it all depends on who sees or hears it you have to be extremly careful with stuff like that in this day and age.

Because of school shootings by disenfranchised kids, there is a backlash of fear when these things are involved. Freedom of expression is not necessarily protected if there is an implication of potential for violence or harm.
Was this on a school computer? They certainly have the right to take action then. Was it at home only? That might make a difference.
In the end, if your friend is racist she needs to get some help to work out her own problems. Racism is never right and there is no place for it in our schools where children go to learn and have a right to a safe, secure environment in which to do so.
