Buy him a book geared at new dads... we bought "The idiots guide to being an expectant father". It explained all the ickiness and what goes on with the baby. It also has tips on how to treat mom and what they can do to make things easier. My husband doesn't really like to read, and this was perfect for him. He could go look at the book instead of having me explain what discharge is and what a cervix does, which was apparently too yucky for him to listen too. Good luck!

Seriously, buy a copy of "What to Expect When You're Expecting." I bought a copy of that, and my husband has just about worn the words off the pages! He looks up every little cramp and pain I have.
I used to think he was sweet. Now it's just annoying. But I know he's only doing it because he loves me, so I let him have his fun. It could be a lot worse!!
Now, if he'd only let me go pee in the middle of th night without wanting to call the doctor!!

Congrats and tell him it's to keep you healthy too. My husband was grossed out by it and I told him if he didn't like it, he didn't have to get too close!! LOL Wait until closer to the end of the pregancy. If you lose your mucus plug before you go into labor, he'll be REALLY disgusted!! Actually, so will you!
And yippee on the lack of morning sickness!! 16 weeks of it with my first and 36 with my second!!

The excessive discharge is one of the less glamorous sides of pregnancy. It won't do anything to your baby. It's just a bodily reaction to pregnancy.
Oh, congratulations, by the way!

The extra discharge helps to soften the cervix and vaginal area so that delivery is easier. It is just one of the many side effects of pregnancy.

Our Intelligent Designer created us with the equal instincts for survival as different animals have. He later domesticated a few of us people by way of His Laws and Commandments that have been centered for people to make people out of untamed people. God was once the primary to make use of selective breeding.

I know this sounds disgusting but tell him it is extra lubricant for him. Tell him it is harmless, normal, and to get used to it.
