my good mate is now seeing my ex girlfriend. we had been broken up for 6 months. my ex and i are still good friends but i refuse to be his friend now??? he is tryin to be my mate offering to break up with her etc to still be friends. what should i do?? why cant he accept that i dont want to be his friend and move on and be happy with her??? is it ok to shake a guys hand if u really dont want to??

to tell you the truth, you should stop acting gay. if you really are friends with this guy, then you would let him tap your ex and stop whining

Well im not a guy but my Ex-husband is now with my best friend and I wish them all the best but I cant see being friends with her again....It was hard enough finding out but then having to relive that everytime I see them together is to hard for me. But as for you...you need to just wish them the best and move on..Some times its harder to hold on to something like that than it is to let go completely.....Shake hands but then keep it at that if its for you ...

Wow- that is quite a generous offer from him- sounds like your friendship really matters to him-and yes it is ok to shake hands- sometimes it is just polite-the choice is yours- take care-D

no!! don't be a poser. tell him what your feelings are (yes, I know it's a girlie thing to do) and say goodbye. he should have known better in the first place...that's just wrong.
