as much as i don't think i could personally do it, one must understand why it's legal in the first place.
abortion is going to be done no matter what, hence why it was legalized in the first place. young girls were dying in backstreet abortions; they obviously thought the risk of dying under a dirty knife was worth getting rid of an unwanted mass of cells. why not let them have the option of doing so safely.
there are situations where i feel an abortion would be necessary. it should be the mother's choice to determine if her individual situation (one that no one else can judge) is worth all that shes loosing.

I bet you want the responders to come to a consensus. Although I am pro-choice, I know it should not be something to be abused. There are those who say it should be outlawed. I agree with your initial remark, and I believe most of America is in accordance.

Here is an idea for you. Go get your ovaries cut out then you won't have to worry about getting an abortion. Besides anyone who can believe the way you do does not deserve to have ovaries anyway. I wouldn't 'support' abortion - I think most people would prefer there were no abortions. However, I support a woman's right to choose that if that is the right option for her.
