I was wondering that even though my PSP says on the outside of the box that it is a region 2 PSP, will it be able to play region 1 PSP games? I have bought some region 1 games off ebay, I hope that will be ok.

that is why you read the region- but you never know- try it and see- however most likely not. Kind of like my DVD's from Europe that don't play in my American DVD player LOL.

Most likely not. My DVD player says Region 2 on the back but plays all my Region 1 American discs so you never know...

psp games are not blocked only umd movies will be blocked if they are a different region than the psp

games arent localised ie no regions only umd movies are.so you can play uk,us or japenese games but only uk(possibly japenese i forget what region they are) umd movies

No it will only play region2 or all region games
