My mom currently has an ancient Nextel cell fone with crappy service. Im looking to buy her a cell fone that has a good plan, good service, and get send and recieve text messeging. And be under 100 dollars. Any ideas?

T-Mobile always has the cheapest plans with the most minutes, and really nice phones. You should try them.

They also have myFaves which allows you to pick upto 5 people and any calls to them will be completely free, regardless of their network. Another network you could try is MetroPCS, which might not be available were you live, but they give you unlimited minutes and unlimited text for only $45 a month. Check it out. Nice phones there, too!

it depends on what service you want to give her. Personally i and my mom both like T-Mobile and there plans are good. Now i dont know your mom so i wouldnt know what phone would best support her needs but if you get a 2 year service aggreement with T-Mobile Most of the phones are under or around $100.00. Where are you located? Some carriers provide better service in some areas than others.

Don't know where you live but I've traveled a lot and my cingular phone goes with me. I've gone very few places with no service. Should be able to get a plan for under $100.00.
