I don't know if they even exist, or what they are called. I want to unscrew a light bulb and then screw in this adapter that looks like a wall outlet, so I can plug christmas lights into it. Any idea??

Yes! Absolutely! Any hardware store carries such a screw-in adapter.
However - the adapters are for 'old-fashioned' two prong plugs and do not provide the third ground pin which is used on most appliances today. The adapters are O.K. for lights and such, but are not appropriate for high wattage uses, notwithstanding the fact that the extension cords used in the adapters will be dangerous just because they are in traffic ares or suspended in the air (if used in overhead fixtures). Be careful!!!
