Why in the world would anyone think an elective abortion should be legal between 5-7 months pregnant is one thing,
but Where is their proof that premature babies always die before 28 weeks?
And why don't they see that their viability as it pertains to legality argument crumbles when advancing technology allows many premature babies to live and thrive who might have been butchered electively without anesthesia otherwise?

Please stop trying to start debates.
You're just gonna lose again.
Save yourself the shame of being proved wrong & just get over it already.
We don't go around harassing you for KEEPING your stupid babies, so stop harrassing us for exercising our legal rights to decide what is best for us & our fetuses.
You are NOT every woman & you have NO right to tell them how to live THIER lives.
Just because you don't have a life of your own doesn't mean you have to go around making everyone else's miserable.
Including those FETUSES you are PRETENDING to care about so much.

Wow. Talk about a loaded question!
Where are your facts from? A link or two on the viability of infants born at that stage of pregnancy would be nice. I know when I was pregnant last year, my doctors told me that 26 weeks was the point where I could breathe a sigh of relief and even then, the baby's chance of having inter-cranial bleeding (ending up permanently retarded or actually dead) was higher than the baby being OK.
I don't know wher you're getting this 28 weeks from.
In any case; like another answerer already stated, that's why most liberals support abortion in the first trimester. I support abortion up to the second and third only if the mother's life is at stake or if the baby shows signs that its life outside the womb will be limited in the extreme then it should be the parents' choice whether or not to go forward with the pregnancy.
This issue is far more complex than you pro-birthers like to present it and that's why the decision should be left up to the parents and their medical professional.
Butt the hell out.

some toddlers are more advantageous lively than others there's no set "10 in line with hour" as such. so long because the midwives/docs are satisfied she is remodeling into on the favored price do not problem too a lot. you gained't experience each and every circulate she makes, perhaps she strikes more advantageous once you're asleep? you should experience her bypass/kick at some degree in the course of the day each day. As she receives larger this is going to likely be more advantageous obvious, you'll have her ft lower than your ribs! in case you experience no moves for an afternoon it truly is the time to rigidity.

I support abortion in the first trimester. Almost nobody aborts at 6 or 7 months, statistically is only 1% of all abortions. Most of the woman who get it at that stage are women who's life is in danger. Do you support abortion in cases of life and death of the woman? If you do, you're not anti-abortion, you're just picking and choosing. Isn't selfish to choose the woman's life who has already lived than a "baby" who hasn't lived yet? So far, I've only seen 2 people in this section who are really anti-abortion.

I support a woman's right to choose until the embryo has matured to the point of independent viability. I think this is a good compromise position, because as technology improves as you suggest, the viable child (at this point) will be embued with constitutional protections as an individual. Thus, the issue is not one of morality or religion anymore, but one of technology and science.

Did you know the Political Party is decided in the 16th week.
Depending on how much animal protein the mother eats. The pituitary gland fingers and testosterone are all developed in week 16. You can look at a persons hand and tell what their party of choice is, by the difference in length of the fingers. The longer the ring finger is the more Red they are If they have equal length ring and index finger they are Blue.
Go big Red Go

I am completely against abortion, unless it is by incest or rape. I think people make their choice when they have sex. Once a baby is conceived, they are the ones who have the choice to live. I'm a woman, but I disagree with the whole "woman's right thing." I could never have an abortion.

many, many prochoice persons, such as myself ... say a first trimester limit is max.. and we also support lowering the need for abortions threw sex-education... at a guess i'd say you are refering to a minority of people to start with.
