Most of the population has shifted from farms to urban dwellings. 200 years ago, most people lived on the family farm, while today, most live in urban or suburban areas

They have shifted toward their Fundamental Darkness. People are less empathetic and less humanistic these days. It seems to me that people are quicker to judge and more about the "self" than ever. We need to get back to spreading peace and love. Being more humanistic and having more empathy would be good. Trying to cultivate positive dialog with your fellow man would be good. Paying it forward would be great. We are all part of one another and need to remember that.

The number of elderly is increasing. The baby boomers are aging and that's a large chunk of population.

Mostly, the shift has been towards being here illegally. Thirty years ago, there were hardly any filthy illegal aliens in this country, now there are tens of millions.
