Well, what happened was me and Shadow my cat and lover were just sat down to watch the discovery channel and drink a nice bottle of 1920 Chardonnay kipper and lime wine when I felt a twinge in my stomach so I rushed to the bathroom, i thought it might have been diaorrhoea from the offal and cranberry pie I just ate.
Anyway, i let it all out but then there was all this splashing around in the toilet, and when I looked in there was baby kippers everywhere , i counted about 15. Part of me was excited but the other part of me was upsetincase shadow thought i was cheating on him with a kipper i mean how sick and twisted is that?!? Is this normal? Could it be that ive eaten too many kippers? sent

While it is not uncommon for female live-bearers to die after giving birth this should not happen. Many will say otherwise but given the proper conditions most (if not all) females will live. the deaths may have been caused by fish stress, were there any symptoms before their deaths? abnormal behaviors? Seeing as the death occurred a month later the death is virtually unrelated to the birthing as for the guppies deaths i cannot say. I would however perform a water check (measure for the usual culprits). As for the gravel cleaning, i would suggest you invest in a gravel vacuum, they are easy and efficient (if you used correctly) and can be purchased relatively cheaply (depending on the bells and whistles you want....they all do the same thing) at your local pet shop. i know that you would never cheat on shadow.....the very idea!i think your maybe eating too many kippers and dancing too heartly afterwards.Maybe you could try kipper puree ?or a kipper smoothy?but fletch remember you have these babies and you must cherish them..im knitting fin booties as we speak
