The Dodgers are trying to get a big bat (Vernon Wells/Manny Ramirez) using their stock of excellent high level mL talent. The Sox want Kemp and Broxton for Manny and the Dodgers aren't too keen but interest is there and they will make at least one huge deal this off season.

As for how they'll do, as it stands, I have them as favourites in the NL West.

Doubtful there will be any significant moves although Manny's name keeps floating around. Hopefully that trade happens though. I would trade him for Broxton and Kemp. Those guys were good for a little bit but they're role players at best. Manny's proven all-star talent

They did re-sign Saito today which helps their bullpen. But they want some power. I think they might resign Julio Lugo. They want a big batter but they missed their chances on the power bats like Lee and Soriano. My idea is they probably will go after Manny. But I heard the Phillies are having Burrell as bait so they might go after him.

they are said to be talking with the Sox about Manny, but that isn't going to happen.

I think they are pretty much done. They may sign a few non-important free agents, but as for major trades or major free agents they are done.

They just re-signed Saito. I think they'll make more moves before the season starts. Hopefully they'll do good during the season.
