honestly i think its the team who can overcome the most adversity to make the playoffs and go all the way.last year that team was the steelers.the biggest insult to denver,indy and cincy is not that pittsburgh beat them,but the fact that the year following this the steelers sucked.
if you are an 8-4 cowboys,10-2 bears or colts or even a 9-3 ravens,you don't deserve to be called a good team if an 8-8 or 9-7 team defeats you in the playoffs.concider this football efficienado's,from 1921-1976 only dallas make it to the superbowl as a wildcard.in the 30 years scince 6 teams have gone and 4 have won it. so the best
team is the one who hoists the lombardi trophy a week before valentines

They're may be better teams in the NFL this year than the Cowboys, but not by much. We'll see at the end of the year who's left standing. Most of the teams people are mentioning are one year wonders. The Cowboys are, have always been, and always will be the best team in the NFL. PERIOD.
Dallas Cowboys are and always will be America's Team. For that matter they are the World's Team. And the only team with hole in their roof so God can watch his favorite team.

If Romos continues his excellent play and the defense continues to be solid the Cowboys may have alegit claim when all is said and done. But working with sheer speculation I have to say the Chargers edge out the Bears and Colts, with the Cowboys in 4th

Cowboys? i dont think so. there going to loose to the Saints, the most underated team in the NFL, on Sunday. best team right now is the Chargers. But when Grossman starts playing better, Da Bears will retake the title.

I think the Chargers are the best team in the NFL. They have an unstoppable offense with LT and Gates. The D is complete with Lights Out back on the field. I think the 'Boys are a close second.

Patriots are still the best. Brady is awesome and they have the most balanced team. The playoffs will show that the Bears and Cowboys are upstarts and it remains to be seen if the Colts can finally go all the way in the playoffs.

Sorry, I don't know if you Chargers fans were paying attention to the game Sunday (I was there), but you guys LOST to Buffalo. Yeah, hae to say it, but you really did. We had a touchdown and a big play caled back because of poor officiating. We also had that blatant PI call missed on the 1, so basically, they really gave up 28 point, and quite easily 35 against the Bills.
I'd have to say the Saints are the best right now, along with the Ravens and Bengals.
