depends on what you're looking for.

food is generally good throughout the country, but it's exceptional in the Basque Country...so if you want great Basque food, head to San Sebastian.

if beaches are your thing, valencia or barcelona should do the trick. the advantage of barcelona is that it also has plenty of history, culture, and a vibrant feel to it during the summer.

madrid would be ideal if you're looking to take in some culture and history (i.e. Royal buildings, Prado museum).

I've been to 4 of the 5 cities on your list (never been to Valencia), and I can honestly say I enjoyed my time in each of the cities - each one truly offered a different experience. I don't think you could go wrong choosing any of the 2. Have fun!

Barcelona: it has both a combination of vibrancy, history, and fun. You can see famous Gaudi Architecture during the day and then head to a discotech at night.

Sevilla has old world charm and beauty, but I think maybe Valencia or San Sebastion is a good choice as well.
