I have been trying off and on for a couple of years. I have had 2 miscarriages and just need some reassurance. I am very well prepared w/ ovulation kits, charting my temps, etc. but I just need to hear some positives. Share with me ladies... and please be serious. This is never an easy thing to deal with.

I actually was very fortunate and got pregnant with all my three kids on the first try. However, I have some gf who are having the same trouble as you. I would recommend going to a specialist and making sure there is no underlying condition that needs attention. Considering that you have had 2 miscarriages and have been trying for about 2 years, it wouldn't hurt to see your gp and get a referral to a specialist. Good luck.

I was on depo when my husband and I decided to try to conceive. After researching I found that it could take up to 18 months before becoming fertile again. So I did not get the next shot and went on with life not expecting much to change. I was pregnant 3 months later. So I think it is one of those situations where if you are ready go for it but if you aren't sure then hold off. There is no way to know how quickly your body will respond to not being on birth control.

Take heart in the fact that you can get pregnant. Many women with fertility problems never even get that far. Since you're on top of everything, just keep on trying. I know lots of women who have had a few miscarriages and have beautiful babies. I suffered my second miscarrige in September. We're trying again now!

It took me almost 9 years to get pregnant. I ended up adopting a perfect baby boy on my 8 year wedding anniversary, and one year later I got pregnant. I am on my third pregnancy since we adopted our son (he is 4 years old now). To me this shows that God has a plan for everyone. I honestly believe that the reason we went 9 years trying to get pregnant unsucsessfully was because God wanted us to adopt our son. As soon as we had him in our lives we had no trouble concieving. I know it was meant to be that we adopt our oldest. Try not to get too discouraged (easier said than done, I know) sometimes the way things turn out is way better than the way you might have planned it. Good Luck to you!

My first child, 2 1/2 months.
My second, a year.
My third, about 2 months.

Every woman is different. If you are meant to be a mommy, you will be one. Good luck, and have fun trying!!

Why would you not go see a fertility Dr? Is your partner sterile? These are the first few questions that come to mind. Other than that, relax and enjoy!
