you dont. It is a sealed system that does not need changing or adding for 100k miles. unless you have a leak or a problem you should not have to check it. But if you must there is a plug that you can take out to check the level. Not sure what type of car you have but on the chevy and pontiac cars there is a 15 mm plug on the drivers side about 1/2 way down the tranny. What you do is get the car on a level groung and then loosen the plug. Slowly take it out just until fluid starts to come out. If it does then you are good if you take it out and no fluid comes out then you need to add. There is a red filler cap below the brake cylinder on the drivers side. Unscrew it and add fluid there.

Ok, some new automatic tranny's don't have dipsticks. they have a inspection plug like on a Manuel tranny. you usually don't change the fluid. They call this a seal transmission. When in doubt call the deal, they should be able to tell you.

JUST A LITTLE NOTE FOR YOU OK I DONT KNOW WHAT KIND OF CAR YOU HAVE WEATHER OR NOT IT IS A NEW MODEL OR NOT BUT TO ME IT SOUNDS LIKE IT MIGHT BE A NEWER MODEL AND IF THAT IS THE CASE SOME OF THE NEWER MODELS DO NOT HAVE DIP STICKS TO CHECK THE FLUIDS,SO MY BEST ADVISE TO YOU IS THAT IF YOUR TRANS ARE SOMETHING IS SLIPPING IS TO CALL YOUR LOCAL DEALER WHERE YOU PURCHASED THE VEHICHLE,OR CONTACT A LOCAL GARAGE AND HAVE THEM TO CHECK IT OUT. I DONT KNOW IF I HAVE HELPED YOU OUT OR NOT BUT THIS ALL I CAN TELL YOU
