Fame, money, and the outcry from the people that say 'you are treating them bad because they are famous'. Nobody should be above the law....NOBODY!

Didn't have to read the whole thing because the question you did ask tells the whole story. You need to get back to court and petition the judge regarding visitation. Make sure you leave no stone unturned. If you feel the father will abuse you/and or your child you're also going to need a restraining order so the father can't come with in 20 feet of you or your child. If you have any papers that say he has been arrested for drugs and or abuse take all paper work to court with you. Get some legal advice from legal aid if they work on child protection. They can give you info that you need. Remember you must also protect your self from this looser. Petition the courts to have supervised visitation if the father really insists on visitation. With him, visitation may get old pretty quickly. By supervised visitation...this would be away from your home with someone from social services or some such other qualified agency. You could also petition for full custody which I think would be the better bet. You can worry about support, if needed, when the subject comes up, which it will.

If you pop hot on a drug test for employment you dont get arrested either, get your facts straight. You may not get the job, or in the case of sports lose your career (Military as well) You get arrested for having it on you, getting caught IN THE ACT of using, or selling, not for having it in your system. (unless you were in an accident or pulled over while driving, tested positive for drugs, then its just like a DWI)

If my job gives me a drug test and I fail they don't take me in they fire me. It is the same with ball players. The police are not privy to company drug test for employment.

Justice is for the rich. It happens in every society eventually. America is no different. The real question is, how long with the majority put up with all this crap being served by the upper 1%

In case you've been living in a cave all of your life, "justice" is only for the wealthy.
