I used to live in DC too. Glad to be out of the area but there is a lot of crime here in Florida too.
That ton of money they will spend to live on the moon could be so much better spent on the homeless problem in the country or the drug rehab. problem or the alcohol problems.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it is to be kind to everyone you meet. If you do this, regardless of how "they" treat you. There will be a small group of people around you that you will actually appreciate, and viseversa. When this happens your new friends' influence on others should deter their hostile feelings from mustering into violent actions. Which means you will have taken care of your part of our world. Years from now, people will remember you as a caring person and a better world will arise in your path.

Hi. The only way would be to have a self-sufficient colony, one that does not need Earth to survive. It would most likely be underground and get it's water from ice and power from the Sun. Being in such a perilous environment would almost guarantee there would not be strife among the inhabitants.

You're right, there probably will be wars on the Moon and in space too. Did you know that there is actually a Space Corps within the military?

Yeah, I live near D.C. too. There are too much killing and robbery. But I guess we can NEVER live on the moon. There is no evidence that we can survive. No proof. Nothing. Sorry, I wish we could live there too.
