As part of a project I am working on, I need to find a Barbie doll which either looks like the character of the Bride Of Frankenstein, and all my internet searches have prooven without success.

I also need to build a mad scientist's laboratory, Barbie-doll scale. Anyone have blueprints, ideas, parts or resources to help me out on this?

If you would like to donate a Barbie doll (or dolls) or even Barbie doll PARTS (legs, arms, torso, heads, etc...) so that I can build my own "Frankenstein"-inspired doll, please don't hesitate to contact me and I will provide you with a mailing address!

Once again, any and ALL help would be appreciated!

Hit garage sales and thrift stores for a barbie - use a cone to hold her hair straight up and spray it black then give it white bolts a black sack dress and zipper scars on her neck and arms, black boots and you have Mrs Frankenstein. Then get some copper wire and cardboard tube to make mock Tesla coils and if you can find an old radio bust it open for some cool looking coils and the "Scientists" lab wall. Make a cardboard cot and cover it with foil for the surgeon's table and put it all together in a 14" high box sprayed black and embellished with a brick drawn with gray for that Transylvania flair. If you are lucky you might even find a Ken to dress as the infamous Dr and complete the scene. Good Luck and have fun!

No, I don't think so. The closest would be the "Munsters" and "Addams Family" series.

I know on Ebay some dollmakers can create dolls like that. But you only see those around Halloween. You might have to email them your request. And there are wigs that you could also try.

As for a laboratory, a cardboard box and some poster paints is always a good place to start and I'm sure you could get creative with some dowels and popsicle sticks.

Wow! cltd found a great doll, though not a barbie. I never thought to just do a search under "bride of frankenstein doll" and omitting "barbie", duh!

This is a cool question. I think true righteousness produces good works, by that I mean true righteousness of a born again believer. For of the non-believers righteousness Isaiah said, "All our righteousness is a filthy rags before God." And Christ said, "Apart from Me you can do nothing." meaning nothing righteous. I believe the non-believer's good works produces self righteousness.
