1. No the core system does not come with a hard drive. Playing old xbox games depends on the game, some work some don't. Look on Microsoft's Xbox site for that.
2. You can pay buy the month or buy the year. I think a year is still $50. It is cheaper to buy the yearly subscription.
3.Is what worth it? The only thing you need is an Ethernet cable. That is if your xbox is close enough to your router for that. Otherwise you need a wireless adapter. They run about $100
4. The core system price is $299 base. Most places sell it with a package deal. The tax depends on where you live.

1- no it doesnt, you can buy a harddrive later for about 99 dollars

2- 5 bucks per month, great online play in my opinion.

3- I got a cat 5 cable for about 6 dollars for my xbox, probably the same for your xbox 360. Id say its worth it.

4- the core plus tax? grab a calculator and multiply what you want to buy (the cost) by .06 (depending on state, taxes differ i think) and the number you get will be the tax you have to pay.

Get the premium package, its more money but worth it, and the cost of the console with tax all depends on where you live but its normally 499 +tax so do the math 499 + 14% if you live in ontario
