Headline Iraq: What happens to 100,000 foreign contractors/subcontractors still in Iraq...? if U.S. pulls...?

....its troops out of Iraq? If Maliki's plan does not go astray (that Iraq can handle its own security in 6 months, and therefore US troops can go home) who will handle the secrity for the contractors who are still doing work there? or is that possibly one of the reasons Maliki wants US troops gone...so that Iraqis can handle their own rebuilding. We recall that Iraqis government ministries had over 9 billion dollars that was NOT touched by the US after the invasion. And they probably had more with more flooding in from various other Middle Eastern conutries. I imagine much of the billions being expended in the name of Iraq is being used as security for these US contractors also. Does anyone agree?

I meant: that some of the billions is being used to pay for those private US companies that protect US contractors.

They will have to assess their own security needs. Why should GI's get killed so these corporations can profit from the war?

That is not an issue , the issue go out from others land , and for contracts, there is buisness and put the best offer u will get the job, people are welcoming any real guest

U.S. Troops will always be in Iraq and will not be pulled for a while dont listen to what your told look at the facts....Troops still in Korea Troops still in Japan.....Troops Still in Vietnam.... Troops Still in South America....Troops all over Africa ....they will always be there once the U.S. is set up some where we dont leave we Police......

If we pull out prematurely Syria will come to the aid of Sunni and Iran to the aid of Shia, everyone else will scramble and be replaced by Pakistanis and the free press will be gone and all news will come from the Iran press.
