which would better with bowl games its more what teams did the best and what conffces have what bid(how meny teams they can send) with playoffs would take the better teams from each conferce and they play for natnoal champ

I'd be all for a "Plus 1" system (4 teams, 3 games).
In the history of college football, no 5th ranked team, 6th ranked team, 7th ranked team, etc. has had a legitimate claim to be the national champion. This year was the first I can remember that the 4th ranked team (Florida) at season's end did. It's usually down to three teams or less.
Set up a mini-tournament that pits the #1 against the #4, the #2 against the #3, and the winners play two weeks afterwards for the national title.
Bowl games used to be a reward for an outstanding season, but now with the Renuzit Bowl, the Vonage Bowl, the Tires.com Bowl, etc., they are meaningless and only exist for the sake of $$$. Right now, all you have to do is win 6 games, and you get to go to a bowl; big deal. Make it mean something to a team to get invited to the big dance.

Playoffs as bowl games w/ the 6 top teams playing off starting 3 weeks before the championship final. I fell Michigan got shafted by the BCS. They play in a tougher conference & had to play Ohio state in a conference game. Who did Florida play against that was number 1 nationally? Nobody

Make a 16 team playoff using current bowls as playoff sites. Use current BCS formula to seed them based on performance vs. strength of schedule to help ensure the best teams get in with allowances for mid-major conferences and independents.

bowl games . bowl games is the Americas past time. all you hear is people want a play off in college, but you don't hear is the people like me wanting to keep bowl games. i that want a playoff why don't they switch to 1AA football.
