Actually stealing this idea from a talk show...a guest gave Ellen a gift of a camel...I understand that Oxfam will take a donation in order to purchase live stock in other countries so for like $150 you are getting someone a camel, $20 a chicken etc...so you do it in the millionaires name and you receive a certificate that you can place in a card. I've done similar things for a few of my millionaire friends and now that I'm also in that bracket I keep on doing so!

Realistically speaking, they don't need a thing. I hate to sound mundane, but I'd probably either just give a nice care and maybe some home made treat, or make a donation to some charity in their name.
I'm way under even the 100k you mentioned, and I don't know anyone who's a millionaire - so, beyond that, I really can't help you.

I have one friend who is a millionaire several times over. He built his house in Bakersfield, CA where he has his business, for cash. It cost him $800,000 to build and in 16 months it has a maket value of $1.5M. Plus he owns his big old office building. He does make over $100,000 a year....unlike me!
What do I give him and his wife for Christmas...nothing we don't exchange gifts since our kids reached 18.
We have known each other since we we 16 and now we are 52. So that is probably why he has at least 1 non-millionaire friend and I have 1 millionaire friend.

Yes, millionaires have non-millionaires as friends. Just to clarify, someone making over 100K a year isn't a millionaire. Since they probably have everything they want, try to get them something thoughtful - like maybe they mentioned they like a particular type of chocolate or liquor. You could always make them something homemade - most people love holiday goodies.

Actually, I do know a millionaire but do not think of him as such. And I know of one that gets him a large wreath (fresh pine) every year to hang on an outside door or a large fruit basket. The homemade goodies also sound nice. Good luck.

Give them a book or a movie or a cd. And get them a nice card and write something in it. The book should be something interesting. Everyone likes a good book.

Yes, they do have friends that are not. One of my closest friends is a multi millionaire. He has lots of friend that are not and actually not many that are. I usually give him a card with a hand written note. That does it.

just give them whatever you would give them if they weren't rich. Even people who make a lot less money don't NEED presents, they just like getting them.
