Why would you want to add this to your fuel system? Its likely to damage seals and pump components in your car. Most fuel additives are lubricating whereas acetone is corrosive. Not for sale generally as the uses of it outside of the chemical/manufacturing industry are somewhat dubious. For your sake, i hope MI5 arent reading your enquiry.

Try a paint store. If you are using it to flush out your fuel system, it might work. But as a fuel additive, it's not so good. Try octane booster. Several brands can be found at the local auto parts store.

NOT good to add it to your fuel - it'll damage any plastic parts, fuel lines, pump components etc. If that's what you want it for.

You'd have a job to get it from a chemists shop, they sell it in tiny bottles called nail varnish remover.

Try your local hardware store, but keep it out of your fuel tank as it dissolve plastic and can ruin the fuel system.
