I'm sure they will blame anyone and everything, but that doesn't erase the fact that they were in the drivers seat for the entirety of this fiasco

It will end up being another blameless war. You will even have conservatives claiming the same crap after Vietnam..."If we only would have put ALL of our troops in there and fought to win." The problem is that these are not wars of conquest. This is not a WWII situation like when Nazi Germany crushed nations and stole their money and property. These are wars that are started to spread U.S. business interests throughout the world. And the only way to do that is to occupy the country and set up a powerless puppet goverment. A false democracy. And the enemies that fight our troops know that guerrila tactics can win in the long run again. The morale of U.S. troops becomes lower the longer the war is fought. Troops end up questioning the war altogether. They feel like they do not see any direct benefits from a victory. And their will is ultimately broken. Much much easier to win a war playing defense in your homeland. And the enemies take advantage of it.

It is unfortunate that the whole thing has been a Pandora's box. As we all know it all started with 9-11. There is no graceful way to pull out of any war. I just pray for the wisdom for a end to it all.As always my heart and prayers are with our military and their loved ones.

When all is said and done, I think we'll all get blamed. Every person of voting age.
The politicians for not doing their job and us for not holding them accountable and on task. These things didn't just happen suddenly; it was gradual. We all played lazy democracy and now we're all paying the price.
No one walks away from this without blame.

I'm sure he has a special team working day and night in the basement of the white house trying to come up with a way to blame it all on Clinton.
