There are web sites which offer free anonymous surfing, by using them you can skip your administrators ban on some sites.
Connecting to a web page through their free services will mask your identity. The administrator can see the web address of that proxy site only - not the actual site address which you viewed through that proxy site.
Here are some -
www.cyberarmy.com
www.anonymizer.com
www.btunnel.com
www.vtunnel.com
www.kickadmin.com
www.anonymouse.org
www.proxy.org
www.proxify.com
www.youhide.net
Assuming that certain sites are being blocked, is't almost certain that the administrator can block proxy sites as well.

Here we go again..all you newbie teenagers asking how to get past School blocks so you can play. Are my tax dollars to pay for you to goof off at School??
Your School's IT department monitors all PC activities. They know what you type, what you click on etc. They even know what you just asked here at Yahoo answers.
If you try a proxy or vtunnel or any other methods to bypass their filters, you will get into trouble, guaranteed. Explain that one to your parents when you get suspended or even expelled for violating School internet security policies.
Do you personal computer playtime and myspace crap at home on your OWN PC

An easy way to hide your real IP address and bypass some school/work
proxies is to use torpark which uses the firefox web browser and
the 'tor' (the onion router) network - Bascially this browser bounces
your internet connection around to make it look like you come from
a different IP address. It's anonymous browsing at it's best.
There's links and also a great walkthrough with a step by step guide: http://walkthroughwizard.info/

.
You can only unblock a web site on a computer Network
IF you have administrator priviledges.
With Administrator priviledges, and or the proper password, you can go to your pc
Content Advisor and unblock what you want.
Otherwise, there is NO workaround.
