I use a program called LimeWire from www.limewire.com
Its the best i have found as it allows you to search for track, artist album years etc and downloads are mostly quick and it never seems to fail to find and download any tracks.

Sometimes, I just go to a search engine, and I get answers. You can try "kazaa", "napster", or "itunes." My college student loves Itunes, but they can cost at least .99/song.
Good luck!
