it depends what you mean by evil.
You could go down the whole devil worship thing, but tht is only evil in terms of Christians.
You could talk about the evil kings and queens that britain has had, bloody mary for example.
You could take it down the other route and say how evil Britain was for conquering othe countries, like India. This would be different to what most people do and info would be easily found on the internet.
I hope i have helped

I would suggest you edit your title. As harmless as you might intend it people are going to think you are being a smart *** and trying to imply somthing.

Iwould suggest you talk about the large witch burning that occurred throughout England. The witches were connected to the ideas of evil, and yet people were in blind faith killing nnocent people. Evil now take on a mystical form, it's considered something turly bad, politicians are evil, and cartoon villians are evil...in the past eviul had a lot to to with the Devil, God and religion.

you can also talk about mehtod of torture in England..i.e guillotine.

good luck..and for next time don't put off things until next minute..

Try looking at witchcraft, you could also look at the enlightenment, things that were believed to be an act of God were proved to be simple reactions through the developments of science. Key figures within the enlightenment were also heavily into the occult, Isaac Newton for instance was an alchemist and in his spare time tried to find how he could turn lead into Gold. The inventor of logarithms (sorry I can't remember his name), developed it as a method for finding the number of the beast.

Grey Rainbow, witches were never burned in England, they were only ever hanged, heretics were burned.
