I heard about flash mobs in a newspaper and I was wondering how people get involved in them.. does anyone know about flash mob's in London that are going to happen? I would love to take part in one!

I think these events are very much kept a secret until the last minute as meetings may be held in places or land for which the organisers have not obtained permission to use. Certain members of the committees then make phone calls send text messages and e-mails to other members who spread the word as to where the event is to be held. It can be very silly and young adults act like children. All for the purpose of meeting mates for an illegal rave or knees up. Very often drugs are involved. The police are usually hot foot on the tail of the kids anyway.
Not all of the flash mobs are illegal though. The legal ones are advertised by the media.

I used to do this when I was at School ... at lunch- time - we would all charge into the corner shop and grab as much as we could... I wouldnt advise it though - you may get into serious bother .. but if you get anything worth buying ...!
