in general.. i am not asking personally, i am just curious..

but what if you are in a relationship and got pregnant, do you think having the baby would bring you and the other person together, or do you think it will rip them apart??

It is a very stressful time when you bring a baby into the world. Even the most solid relationship can be rattled. It is not a good idea to bring a baby into a relationship where you are wondering if it will bring you closer. It is hard on both mom and dad to adjust and if you have serious problems to begin with now is not the time. Make sure you have a great relationship beforehand, when the baby gets here the baby gets all the attention and you can not focus on your relationship as well.

Well it could go both ways. I've seen it bring 2 people to be inseperable, and then later on rip them apart. I don't think it's a good idea to have a baby to try to get closer. If both people aren't in agreement of this child that can cause some SERIOUS issues.

Having a baby puts a lot of strain on a relationship which if it is having problems can rip it apart.... You give up a lot of time for the baby that you would have previously used for your together time... Having a baby is really tough but it also bring you a lot of happiness....

If the relationship was good before you get pregnant & its not just to trap a guy, then it could bring you together, if its what you both want. If the relationship isn't that good to begin with, then I will tear you apart.

This just depends on how the relationship was before the pregnancy. And a relationship is hard enough without having an infant. Babies put stress on everyone usually, and if you don't have a great foundation for this, then your foundation starts to crack. this is why I believe its better to get to know one another, get married, have the commitment in concrete then start a family, its supposed to work that way for a reason.

both!
if you are in a stable loving relationship and both have agreed to wanting kids it can make it stronger.
but if you are in a rocky relationship and you think having a baby will make it better, that is a huge mistake! bringing an Innocent child into this world to fix your problems, shame on that person.

I think a baby does both. It's a union that's beautiful, however, with all babies -- they can at times really try your nerves.
