I can tell you that most religious groups feel that it is unethical because while you can clone the body you cannot clone the spirit--therefore, God did not create that being. It's a slap in the face to God's power.

According to other non-religious groups, people are affraid of cloned humans because they do not know their potential. They are afraid they are breeding them to be "perfect humans" with "perfect" human traits. It's the demise to the human race!! (Too much movie watching if you ask me.)

Some basic issues:

- If a person is a copy of another person, chances are the DNA deteriorated slightly during the process. This was observed in Dolly the cloned sheep, who suffered more genetic disorders than her progenitor. This begs the question - does a person not have a right to the best set of DNA possible?

- Metaphysical/spiritual: does a person not have the right to be unique? Is it not something of a black mark for someone to learn they are a duplicate of someone who has come before?

Well, wikipedia is great, you should always see it first.
You should really try finging some pages yourself, there aren't many people who'd start browsing the web for some cloning facts and conditions.

Because it's made in a lab for the purpose of duplicating something which already exists. It will probably be abused and misused for the purpose of monetary gain. God gives us our soul, will these creations have souls?
