why do chairs become uneven or wobbly? Do you ever get that feeling when your chair has like one uneven leg and your whole chair won't sit flat? I just want to know what happens.

they become old and worn. the feet wear down or they become twisted. sometimes it's just the floor uneven. most chairs have protector pads or slider on the bottom of the feet to keep from leaving scuff marks and they come off easy making it uneven with the other legs.

More than likely your speaking about they way a chair will tilt because the legs become loose and wobble, thus uneven, simple.

if they are uneven from the time you bought them it could be either the floor is uneven or the furniture itself...if they wre not uneven at first and then became unevenm or wobbly it could be that there was poor workmanship on the furniture and the joints that was once sturdy became loose with time and usage of the furniture. depedning on the floor type especailly wooden would warp with time if not maintained. so you see there could be several reason for this problem
