The question above has earned me a lot of strife. Allow me to clarify in a more peaceful tone: I am wholly against meaningless abortion. As a matter of fact, I think that it should be used only, and only as a last resort. I only condone it for instances of rape, incest and cases like them in which the woman has no control over, and even then I see it as A choice, not THE choice. However, abortion is just the same as pills, as welfare, as nearly everything else you can think of: just because of those who abuse it, doesn't mean they should all be simply scrapped. That was the real reason behind my question, and the reason behind this one.

Comments concerning myself are welcome. Answers for the question above are just as.

Unfortunately, 93% of the 1.37 million babies aborted each year are killed needlessly. This is why abortion is murder. This is why those who use abortion as a form of birth control are considered not to have respect for human life. Less than 1% (around 13,000) abortions are due to rape and incest. How dare you attack pro-life to defend something as socially disgusting as abortion. If the woman is medically probably going to die, then she should have the choice of abortion. If a woman is raped, then she should go through with it. Any woman who does this now is amazing in my eyes. The govt should provide the victim with couseling and a choice of whether to put that baby into the adoption system or provide child support to the mother. The how dare yous have caused you the strife. Meaningless abortion is up there with rape and murder. It should be up there with killing an innocent conscious person. The unborn can feel pain and have many features of a infant. The only difference is that it doesnt breathe the same air. So is it still justifiable to kill it. NO>
