A "baby" can't be spoiled. Therefore no you can't unspoil them. An older child can be spoiled by not having limits on what is accepted and expected of them. If a baby could be spoiled, mine would be...I'm an attached mama. I put forth ever effort to attend to my childrens ever need.

as someone said above about a 15month old u cant unspoil them? u defo can at that age, they understand most of what is going on and are defo old enough to throw tantrums etc! be firm with them and follow through with the same disapline every time the child does the behaviour!
what age is this baby? if u are saying they are spoiled because they are always being carried.. u can try wen they want carried to play with them on the floor and show them that they can have fun with toys and play with mummy in other ways and still feel close. they will know that u still love them through other ways of attention. babies can be spoiled and they dont need carried around all day because it shows them love, u can show them love in hundereds of ways!

Depends on what you are talking about. If you are talking about a small child perhaps 15mo or younger - the odds are that the child isn't "spoiled." Now, if you are talking about a toddler that is old enough to understand things/throw tantrums - yes you can unspoil them. You just have to be firm about what you say and always stick to your word. So, if bedtime is at 8pm - then your child needs to be in bed no matter what, tantrums and all - same if you tell them they can't have a cookie until they finish their veggies. It's all about consistency.

I don't believe you can spoil a baby so you couldn't unspoil one either. (some babies need more attention)
You can spoil an older child and therefore can attempt to "unspoil" one. Stop giving in to all of their demands.
I realize this answer won't be popular.

Spoil your baby! When in the whole world all your little baby wants only one thing mommy or daddy to comfort them and show them they are safe. Your going to miss these days when they are gone.
There is a difference between spoiled with love and a child with no disipline. But you can't disipline a baby.

What do you mean by baby? How old? A very young infant can't be spoiled... they don't know whats going on in the world and need you for comfort.

I never heard of a spoiled baby......I believe in attachment parenting. A baby depends on you for everything.....you didn't hear this from a mother in law did you?

*Gasp* Your three month old cries when she doesn't get the human interaction she needs to develop. Your wife is awful. /sarcasm
Leave your wife alone and go take some sensitivity courses.
