I have done something I am not terribly proud of.
About 5 months ago my longterm fiancee toldme she was pregnant, I had NEVER wanted to have the baby as it would have meant the end of my life, however I foolishly went along with it and then last week she said she had miscarried.
I consoled her in our time of loss and then......
when i went to the a bar tomeet my friends and I shouted " I am not going to be a father anymore everyone the drinks are on me",
At which point i just noticed my girlfriend and her parents across the bar from me.
I want her back as I think she was selfish to have the baby without my say so. I am 18 years old and all i wanna do is party with my friends is that too much to ask. ?

Serves you right. You are in no way ready to be a father and I hope she sticks to her decision and maybe next time you'll keep your zipper up.

If you are 18 years old and all you want to do is party with your friends, then that's fine. You just can't have sex with your girlfriend. She is not the one being selfish, you are. If you didn't want her to get pregnant, then you shouldn't have had sex with her period. I can't believe that your baby died and you went out to a bar to celebrate with your friends. You really need to grow up before you get in any more "long term" relationships. If she never takes you back, then that's just what you deserve. No matter what type of birth control you use, if you have sex then you are taking a chance on having a baby. Your girlfriend was not being selfish to want to have the baby and she didn't need your "say so" to have it. And it would not have been the end of your life. It would just have changed your life, possibly even for the better.

First she probably did not have the baby without your say so it takes two to tango. She was not selfish, you are the one who acted selfish. For what you did I think it is unforgiveable. If all you want to do is party with your friends and have a good time then you are not ready for marriage, I suggest that you allow her to recover on her own and if she ever feels that she can be with you again change your ways, and grow up. And at 18 you should not be in a bar drinking.

Yes because this was a horrible time in her life and you were selfish... a baby is a miracle an something to be happy about.. you are at fault like her for having got pregnant in the first place... next time use protection and i seriously think she will have nothing to do with you if she is smart... You are a selfish stupid immature boy who needs to grow up and step into the real world... i was 19 and pregnant,, my son is a year old now and he is my life, true your life changes but for the better. just to see them do something for the first time is better then any party or drink in the world.

Damn that is so sad that she lost a baby that is one of the worst thing in life to have happened to you i am pregnant now and i an so scared to loose a baby, but advice for u would be to always strap up cause if you don't want a baby then you need to be more care full and the fact you were so happy about not having a baby is very sad and i hope that god will forgive you

Things happen for a reason and clearly you are too selfish and immature for a baby. If you are old enough to drink and have sex that you should know better and use a condom. I hope your fiance breaks up with you and finds a real man not a boy. You should be ashamed of yourself.

no i can understand that youre young. The only thing was that was a little heartless what you did infront of your girlfriend. Besides if she was your fiance why dd you do that? Im pregnant and my fiance was overjoyed hes only a year older than u btw. Anyways have your fun and whatever but dont do it at the expense of other people as im sure that hurt your fiance a lot to hear that especially infront of all those ppl so i think you have a lot of making up to do.

You are young and it is your right to not want kids, but the remarks you made did sound cold. You both should have considered birth control before this happened. She shouldn't take you back, nor should you take her back. It sounds like she would have wanted a child, which is her right, but you both need to be with people who want the same things as you out of life.... For now, I think both of you need to go and be young and free, but try to learn something from this.

your a jerk. shes lucky to be without you. having a baby isn't the end of a life. it jsut means you need to be more responsible. You can still party, and hang out with your friends. My guy goes out with his friends every sunday and monday and sometimes thursday, yeah its football nights but hell hes out having a good time, other times he home or hes with his family taking care of business. you need to grow up and stop being selfish.

Not much of a man, are you? Hopefully your girlfriend will finally see you for the immature loser you are and move on with her life. She deserves better. And buy some condoms so you don't inflict any other poor girl with your idiocy.
