Hey everyone.

It's not like I'm worried about my lips, I am not devestaded, but I would like them fuller, and maybe a little redder, I mean, my lips are almost invisibale.

I had 3 friends who all went to seperate schools, and suddenly they all had realy red and really full lips, there lips (before) were kind of like mine.

I heard that brushing your lips really softly works. Does that just make them fuller? Or gentley putting a hot washcloth on them. Should I do both? When should I do that, and how many times a week should I do it. Does it actually make your lips fuller and redder? If so, how long should I keep doing this, 2 months? Forever?

Then I heard of that lip gloss thing, is there any lip-gloss or red lipstick that actually makes them look a little redder? Does the stuff that makes your lips plumper actually work?

Then I heard that a certain diet might get your lips redder. If so, what is it, I would only do it if it's a healthy diet, since I play soccer, I am know going to bed at 8:00, waking up 4:30, I eat my breakfast, (What should I eat?) and then I exersize, (or do soccer drills, I am trainig for spring season.) Is there a certain amount of calories I should eat a day? (No, if it's un-healthy, I won't do it.) Are you supposed to eat a lot of leafy greens?

Should I apply some type of heat to my lips, (will that make them dry.) Do I use moisturizer? Or do lips have blood in them which is supposed to make them redder, if so how do I do it?

NO surgery.

I hope I can ge some help, like I said, it isn't like a huge problem or something.

Oh, and I am 14.

kayah29, I never asked them, I don't see them much, I mean, I really didn't care. They all go to different schools anyways.

And to all the rest, no said it wasn't like a huge big deal, but I just asked a lot of questions to see what is the best way, not because I am worried about it.

I am actually not allowed to put on tons of make-up eith, just a tiny bit of lip-stick, and of course lip gloss.

Just rub some olive oil over them. It works fine.
Most cosmetics contain chemicals and some ingredients will even speed up aging! That's why I recommend olive oil. Splash some water on your face first, let it dry a bit, then rub the olive oil wherever you need a little plumping. It's the best treatment for lips that I've found and works well under the eyes, too.

Here is some at home tips.
I have made my own lip plumper with
pepermint oil mixed with niacin and cinnomen.
It wil certainly make your lips really red it draws blood to the lip and will make then fuller for a while. you would have to keep apling it.
Also sucking on your lips will do the same but it does not last long.
Your frineds wont tell you what they had used to get there lips fuller?

Wow - lots of questions and just to find out if you can have redder/fuller lips.. he he he

well i'm not sure about diet and stuff - but you're quite young to be worrying about how red and full your lips are - you should try a lip stain if you want to have redder lips -

as for all the other 'techniques' you mentioned never heard of them before one thing I would say is that if you use a washcloth or rub them - your probably going to irritate them and maybe even get chap lips (which isn't at all attractive) but will make them redder for sure!

Don't worry what your friends look like - be a leader and be proud of who you are - your beauty will outshine in you confidence!

oh and I'm 43....but that is what I'd tell my 14yr. old niece!

Start with a natural lip color lip pencil, lightly line your lips (this will help keep your lipstick on longer) . Then apply your lipstick of any color overlaping the liner (you don't want to see the liner) Lastly using your index finger, pick up some white eyeshadow (yes eyeshadow lol) and then press it into the center of your lower lip, blend it a little. This gives the illusion of light reflecting off your lip. Then dab on some clear plumping lipgloss :) ( Tip- Also a too dark lipstick makes your lips look smaller.)

You put lipliner on your top lips only not the bottom and line them and you can buy lip plumper at some stores.

Yes you can make your lips plumper without surgery....there is a sort of lip gloss that i use to make my lips plumper and i'm happy with it...it's called "Thin lip Collagen Boost:" it's by Sally Hansen, and you can buy it at Walgreen's.

Hey, you can use this product by Aveeno. It's called Lip Enhancer. And that's exactly what it does. It enhances your lips by pulping it a li'l bit and make them look super smooth and pinkish. But it's not one of those instant things, it takes a week or two to show effect. I use it all the time. It moisturizes well too.

Try LipVenom. It is clear, but has something in it that "stings" your lips so that they look bigger and it intensifies your natural color. Also, I love Benetint which is a tint for your lips (or cheeks) that you can wear alone or under lip gloss, but it makes your lips look really naturally reddish/pink, and it is a stain so it doesn't come off as fast as a gloss. Both items are available at Sephora.
